Zara McDermott looked like she had swiftly recovered from her recent exit from Strictly Come Dancing, as she confidently posed for a sultry photoshoot in London.
The celebrity, who became the most recent contestant to be voted off the popular BBC dance competition, radiated joy as she worked her magic in front of the camera.
Following a nail-biting showdown with Adam Thomas, Zara was eliminated during the Halloween week, receiving the lowest score of just 25 points from the judges during the live show.
Nevertheless, the star, who initially gained fame on Love Island in 2018, later expressed that she had anticipated this outcome, and shared her gratitude for the enriching experience of Strictly.
Zara, aged 26, seemed to be embracing life after her departure from Strictly on Friday, sharing a series of alluring photos with her 1.8 million Instagram followers.
In her caption, she wrote: “Autumnal London.”
She exuded sophistication and grace in a chic outfit, donning a satin cream dress adorned with delicate black lace accents. This was complemented by sheer black tights and pointed heels.
The beloved star, currently in a romantic relationship with her Made In Chelsea partner Sam Thompson, donned a black blazer coat to round off her fashion statement.
Zara showcased a sultry pout and a flawless smile during the impromptu photoshoot.
This comes just a week after her departure from Strictly Come Dancing, where she was partnered with professional dancer Graziano Di Prima. Throughout her time on the show, Zara frequently spoke about her complete lack of experience in dancing.
Her boyfriend Sam recently shared his thoughts on her Strictly exit during an interview on Hits Radio. He candidly remarked, “So the week we’ve all been dreading – my girlfriend Zara McDermott, was sadly voted off Strictly Come Dancing this week. And look, if I’m honest and I’m always honest with you, we all knew it was coming pretty soon. It was her third dance off, and everyone else, and I know Zara won’t mind me saying this, everyone else is a better dancer than her.”
Despite her exit, Zara has maintained a positive outlook and took to Instagram to express her disappointment, while also showering praise on her partner Graziano. In a heartfelt post, she stated, “I first dreamt of dancing on Strictly when I was 7 years old, dancing round the living room wearing my little dress and wishing I could be one of the “princesses” that I saw on screen. Little did I know that it would one day become a reality, and I’d have got myself half way through the competition. I’ve never been a dancer, or a performer, I’ve always been self conscious, so I knew that this was going to be a huge challenge physically and mentally, yet it was a challenge I absolutely wanted to take on.”
She continued: “However, from the day I met you Graz, you told me every day that I am strong, beautiful, and confident. I believe that everything happens for a reason, and I know that we were meant to be friends for life. You have taught me so much about myself, and our laughter every single day has brought me so much joy,” Zara said.
“I never grew tired of spending over 12 hours a day with you, and your work ethic has inspired me beyond words. You made me believe in myself in those moments when I absolutely didn’t, and the bond we have built is truly unbreakable.”
She concluded her message by writing: “I am forever grateful to every single one of you who made my Strictly experience one that I will reflect upon with a HUGE smile on my face every day for the rest of my life.”
