On tonight’s episode of the reality series, the 51-year-old star from First Dates became the third notable personality to be eliminated following a public vote.

Upon bidding farewell to his campmates, he wished them well with their remaining time in the jungle.

When chatting with hosts Ant and Dec after leaving camp, Fred expressed his enjoyment of fully embracing the jungle experience.

Despite his pre-show apprehension about encountering insects and creatures Down Under, he surprisingly found the entire experience relatively effortless.

“I managed quite well because I mentally prepared myself and stayed highly focused,” he explained.

After the results were disclosed, numerous viewers expressed their satisfaction with the outcome of the vote.

‘YES. Fred is gone,’ a user posted on X, previously known as Twitter.

‘Au revoir Fred,’ another individual shared.

Another person added, ‘Fred was the one who needed to depart. His domineering attitude was becoming increasingly apparent.’

Someone remarked that ‘his conceit has finally caught up with him’.

Others referred to an incident where Fred advised Made in Chelsea star Sam Thompson not to take part in a challenge, suggesting instead that he should stay in camp and ‘play with toys’.

‘Fred is off to amuse himself with his toys while Sam remains, hopefully striving for victory,’ one individual commented on X after Fred’s elimination.

‘And that’s karma for being unkind to dear Sam. Goodbye, Fred,’ someone else posted.

Another supporter of Sam expressed, ‘Fred leaving tonight is evidence that Sam is the nation’s beloved. King Sam’s success is inevitable.’

Throughout his stint on the show, Fred found himself at odds with several of his fellow contestants. It all began with an encounter with Nella Rose, where he made a comment about being old enough to be her father, leaving her understandably angered.

Since then, he’s had confrontations with Nigel Farage, critiqued Josie Gibson’s culinary skills, and most recently, took a swipe at Sam merely for volunteering to take part in a trial.

During his exit interview, Fred didn’t hold back, particularly targeting Nigel and Josie. He mentioned about the former politician, “There’s a side of Nigel Farage I can’t relate to and never will.”

Regarding Josie, who took charge of cooking for the group, he remarked, “We missed out on a few good meals because she wasn’t quite adept in the kitchen.”

For those eager to catch more drama, don’t miss the next episode of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! airing tomorrow night at 9pm on ITV1.
