Two young lads have been accused of murder in connection to the tragic stabbing that led to the death of a victim in Manchester

Two young lads have been accused of murder following the passing of a man, nearly two months subsequent to a stabbing incident in the heart of the city.

A tragic turn unfolded in Manchester, as Greater Manchester Police (GMP) confirmed the passing of a man, one of two seriously injured in an assault on Dale Street last August 16th. The unfortunate demise occurred on October 9th due to injuries sustained, as per GMP reports.

Charges of murder have been brought against two 16-year-olds, identities withheld for legal purposes. One lad had been previously charged and is set to appear before Manchester Magistrates Court this Thursday, having been remanded.

The second youth faced charges on November 16th and has been remanded, scheduled for appearance at Manchester Crown Court on December 4th. This individual will join four men—Mohammed Al-Enizi Hameed, 36, of Rusholme; Hussein Muhalhal, 20, of Longsight; Fares Hassan, 21, of Hulme; and Hussein Mouhelhel, 21, of Fallowfield—who were previously charged with attempted murder and assault.

GMP has announced an update, indicating that these men will now face charges of murder and assault in relation to the incident.
