The highly awaited grand finale of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! is only a few days off, and enthusiasts are eagerly anticipating the crowning of this year’s Jungle King or Queen.

In the past week, the public has voted out five well-known figures: jockey Frankie Dettori, YouTuber Nella Rose, maitre’d Fred Sirieix, Hollyoaks actor Nick Pickard, and, most recently, EastEnders star Danielle Harold.

Beforehand, we bid an unexpected farewell to MasterChef personality Grace Dent and American singer-actress Jamie Lynn Spears. They departed the challenging reality show due to health reasons.

Presently, the focus turns to determining the final three contenders, vying for the prestigious title of this year’s Australian champion.

Remaining in contention for the coveted I’m A Celeb throne are Made In Chelsea’s Sam Thompson, This Morning host Josie Gibson, JLS vocalist Marvin Humes, boxer Tony Bellew, and former politician Nigel Farage.

Despite ITV viewers having to wait until Sunday (10th December) for the official winner announcement, numerous fans of the show are convinced they’ve already discovered who will claim the 2024 champion title.

This belief stems from every evicted campmate openly supporting Sam, the posh contestant, to win the show.

In fact, as per the betting firm William Hill, the reality star from SW3 stands at 4/9 odds to seize the jungle crown and sceptre this year.

Lee Phelps, spokesperson for William Hill, stated this week to the press: “Sam Thompson’s popularity is continuously surging, and this year’s I’m A Celeb appears to be firmly in his grasp according to our odds.

The Made in Chelsea star’s odds of winning the 2023 series have now shortened to just 4/9, marking him as the firm favourite due to the considerable support he’s garnered lately.

Throughout his time on the Down Under series, Sam has admirably shared candid details about his diagnosis and ongoing struggles with ADHD.

However, on multiple occasions during the three-week-long show, some of his fellow contestants faced public backlash for their apparent lack of sensitivity towards his diagnosis.

Ant quipped that ‘an hour without a hug from Sam’ would be the ultimate reward for the campmates, stating, “He’s a nice kid and all, but the hugs are a bit much. I wouldn’t fancy that; it’s too intense for me. I’d rather back off.”

Similarly, social media star Nella was criticised for being ‘insensitive’ when, after completing a challenge with Sam, she remarked, “I’m done. No, you just make everything worse.”

Later in the Bush Telegraph, she confessed, “I adore Sam, truly, but he overwhelms me very quickly.”
