28-Year-Old Rugby Player Passes Away Following Tackle Resulting in Cardiac Arrest
Condolences have been expressed for a 28-year-old father who passed away while participating in a rugby match yesterday afternoon.
Arturas Rudys tragically lost his life while engaged in a match for Wisbech Rugby Club against Diss this past Saturday, as stated by his girlfriend.
Jolita Kiseliovaite, his partner of four years, has set up a GoFundMe page for her support. She expressed, “We’ve shared four years together, and we also have a young child – Emilijus, who is only two years old. My partner passed away during the rugby match in Wisbech. It all happened very swiftly, almost like a surreal dream. An opponent from the opposing team inadvertently made contact with Arturas’ chest or neck while in motion. Following this, he remained on the ground.”
