Sweet Embraceâ„¢, designated as this year’s Dulux Colour of the Year, is described as a “delicate, welcoming pale pink.” Stacey has referred to the colour as “gorgeous,” emphasizing its qualities of “softness and stability.”

In her new role as Dulux Colour of the Year 2024 Ambassador, it has been noted that this position is a “natural extension of her passion for spreading joy through interiors.” As part of the collaboration, Stacey will guide both DIY beginners and enthusiasts in altering the ambiance of their homes using this exquisite colour.

The launch of the colour is accompanied by three palettes – Warm, Calm, and Uplifting. Dulux curated these palettes to provide individuals with “confidence in choosing colour combinations when transforming their rooms into unique, personal spaces.”

Stacey, who has posed alongside the famous Dulux dog for the campaign, remarked, “Paint is such a powerful tool in creating a home with a whole new atmosphere. As soon as you start putting paint on the wall and seeing your space transform, it can change so much about how you use and feel about where you live.”

The Loose Women panellist went on to delve into the intricacies of the colour itself. She expressed, “Sweet Embrace is such a stunning colour. It’s a shade of pink, which may raise concerns for some, but it’s actually more of a soft neutral.”

Adding to this, she said, “For those wanting to explore bolder colours in their homes, it’s an excellent starting point because you can either brighten it up or tone it down with complementary colours. Partnering with Dulux excites me because it allows us to demonstrate that DIY and decorating are more straightforward than people might think!”

Marianne Shillingford, Creative Director at Dulux, shared her enthusiasm, stating, “We’re delighted to collaborate with Stacey and have her help us promote the beauty of Sweet Embraceâ„¢ far and wide. Stacey’s passion for DIY and her positive attitude towards Dulux have truly come to the forefront as we immersed her in the world of the Colour of the Year 2024 – the selection process, how to use it, and its potential to positively impact the atmosphere of your home.
