Snoop Dogg has spoken out after revealing his decision to ‘give up smoking’

Snoop Dogg, whose real name is Calvin Broadus, recently made a surprising announcement on social media. Renowned for his extensive rap career spanning from the 90s to the present day, as well as his roles in film and TV, Snoop is also well-known among younger audiences for his frequent indulgence in smoking. However, he shocked many by declaring his decision to quit smoking after careful consideration and discussions with his family.
Taking to X platform, Snoop shared, “I’m giving up smoke. After much consideration & conversation with my family, I’ve decided to give up smoke. Please respect my privacy at this time.”
Since this declaration, Snoop has returned to Instagram, urging followers to “Respect my privacy.”

In response to the post, one individual noted, “You all do understand that Snoop is 52, and there comes a time in life when you aim to transform for the benefit of your family.”
Another commented, “His personal blunt roller must be feeling disappointed right now.”
A third person added, “Uncle should be more transparent with us. I’m certain there are numerous things we’re not aware of yet.”
Snoop has previously tried to abstain from weed in 2002 but unfortunately relapsed shortly thereafter.
