The star from Made In Chelsea was recently crowned the new King of the Jungle, with boxing legend Tony Bellew as the runner-up, and former UKIP leader Nigel in third place.

Reports have surfaced stating that the politician received a staggering £1.5 million for his time in Australia, marking him as the highest-paid campmate ever. The winner of this year was astounded upon hearing this figure.

Upon being informed of the reported amount, he expressed to The Times, ‘Really? Goodness me! I had no idea. That amount could buy five houses!’

Sam was adamant that his jungle experience wasn’t about money or advancing his career. He asserted that he would have gladly participated in the show even if he had to cover the expenses himself.

‘Mate, I would have done it for anything! Negotiating would have been very easy. I might have even paid them to be on it,’ he remarked.

Instead of seeking a substantial paycheque, the reality star and radio presenter simply desired to acquaint themselves with hosts Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly while taking on some challenging Bushtucker Trials.

“It wasn’t about money or furthering my career; I genuinely wanted to engage in experiences like eating camel’s penis,” he explained. “Meeting Ant and Dec was a personal aspiration; they’re my heroes and the most iconic figures in my life.”

According to MailOnline last month, Farage’s 2023 fee is the highest amount I’m A Celeb has paid a star since Noel Edmonds, who received £600,000 in 2018.

After the I’m A Celebrity finale, it was revealed that Farage secured 25.78% of the vote, trailing behind Sam with 43.35% and Tony with 30.87%.

Show producers faced substantial public criticism upon announcing his participation in the long-standing reality series, yet he ultimately made it to the final three.

Numerous individuals cautioned me against it, predicting a calamity. They insisted it would diminish my standing, eroding the perception of me as a serious figure,” he recently conveyed on GB News.

“I rebuffed them all, stating, ‘Don’t be so conventional.’ I believe taking the risk will reveal my true self, contrary to their preconceived notions.”

While garnering some public support, Farage encountered tense moments behind the scenes with the producers of ‘I’m A Celebrity’ after opting to shower in the nude.

Producers were far from impressed. When reprimanded, he retorted, telling them to ‘go to hell.’

Speaking further to The Sun: ‘Sam refrained from showering naked and didn’t check himself. He woke up one morning in a panic – a colossal leech had attached itself to his backside, and the sleeping bag resembled a crime scene.

‘So, there were valid reasons [for being naked].
