Isle of Wight: Yarmouth Fishing Vessel Seized by Armed Police
In a well-visited tourist area, armed police have established a cordon around a fishing vessel.


At 20:51 BST on Saturday, authorities were summoned to Yarmouth Harbour on the Isle of Wight, where the RNLI had already been present to aid a vessel.
Three individuals were apprehended under suspicion of possessing Class A drugs with intent to distribute.
The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary reported that a boat was also impounded as part of the inquiry.
The individuals detained include a 40-year-old male from Windsor, a 54-year-old male from Gosport, and a 40-year-old male from Portsmouth.
The police force stated that efforts are underway to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the vessel.
