Rebecca Loos has criticised David Beckham for “adopting a victim mentality” in the wake of the release of his Netflix documentary series alongside his wife Victoria, which delves into the notorious affair allegations.

Back in 2004, the football icon faced accusations of a romantic involvement with Loos, who asserted that they had a relationship while he was playing for Real Madrid. During that time, Beckham also faced claims of infidelity with other women, which he vehemently dismissed as “absurd.”

Within the Netflix series, titled “Beckham,” the high-profile couple appears to have addressed these long-standing rumours nearly two decades later. According to The Mirror, Victoria conceded that “we were at odds with each other.” Rebecca, however, has delivered a scathing critique of the documentary’s portrayal of the alleged affair.

In an interview with The Mail On Sunday, Loos expressed, “It’s all, ‘poor me’. He needs to take responsibility. He can say whatever he likes, of course, and I understand he has an image to preserve. But he is portraying himself as the victim and he’s making me look like a liar, like I’ve made up these stories.”

In one segment of the four-part series, Beckham’s director, Fisher Stevens, asks David: “Multiple tabloid stories broke, and how did you deal with that?” The father-of-four responds, “There were some horrible stories that were difficult to deal with. It was the first time that me and Victoria had been put under that kind of pressure in our marriage.”

Stevens then queries David’s wife and former Spice Girl, Victoria, 49, about their marital challenges. Posh reflects, “100 percent. It was the toughest period for us. Because it felt like the world was against us. And here’s the thing; we were against each other, if I’m being completely honest.”
