McCarthy Stone has proposed the construction of 51 homes tailored for individuals over the age of 60 at the former Crosville Club site in Crewe, currently known as The Crozzy. A planning application for the location on Chester Street has been formally submitted to the Cheshire East Council.

Under the plan, The Crozzy will remain in operation until the following year. The development aims to encompass 36 one-bedroom apartments and 15 two-bedroom apartments spread across three floors with a flat roof design. Additionally, it is designed to accommodate 20 onsite parking spaces, which will include two designated for disabled individuals.

Assurances from the Local Democracy Reporting Service indicate that The Crozzy will continue its operations until the next year, and all pre-arranged events and functions will proceed as scheduled.
