Pete Wicks found himself addressing speculations of multiple romantic involvements during his visit to Australia, where he flew to support his friend Sam Thompson, crowned this year’s ‘I’m A Celebrity’ King of the Jungle.

The ex-TOWIE star has been romantically linked to several women during his time in Australia, notably with EastEnders actress Danielle Harold, who starred alongside winner Sam in the jungle.

Witnesses observed the pair displaying affectionate behaviour, describing them as ‘incredibly cosy’ with plenty of cuddling, resembling a couple, as reported by the Mirror.

Additionally, Pete and Danielle were seen playfully interacting, with an onlooker noting Danielle spontaneously jumping onto Pete’s back while they posed for photographs together.

Nevertheless, Pete wasn’t solely associated with one woman in Australia. He was seen on several evenings out, enjoying drinks, with Sarah Corrin, the girlfriend of Nick Pickard, along with other stars from ‘I’m A Celeb’ once they left the jungle.

During an episode of the podcast ‘Staying Relevant’, Pete took the chance to address the rumours. He stated, “Regarding my entire experience with the whole situation, I’ll delve into that properly another time. I simply want to clarify that I didn’t get involved with anyone’s wife.”

Sam Thompson remarked, “Pete seemed to be associated with almost every person around. Whether it was Sarah – Nick’s girlfriend, Danielle Harold, my girlfriend Zara McDermott, or even Rochelle Humes at one point. It felt like there were no more women left for him to be linked with.”

He continued, “You know what’s interesting about all this… I’ve entered the jungle, and Pete’s flown out there to support me. Yet, he simply can’t shake off these rumours.”

“He’s travelled all the way to Australia, and it’s still ‘Pete Wicks linked with whoever the hell he’s linked with.’ It seems like he’ll never escape it.”

Summing up the gossip, Pete expressed, ‘Honestly, Sam is adored by all, and it seems the only change is that now I’m seen as the disliked one.’

This conversation followed the confession of the 35-year-old reality TV star about an ‘awkward’ moment. It happened during their reunion at the airport when he hugged his best pal Sam and his girlfriend Zara.

Pete shared a delightful photo of the reunited couple, standing beside them holding balloons. He also posted a funny picture of the old man from Disney’s ‘Up,’ also holding balloons, with the caption: ‘They reunited…I felt awkward 🎈’

Fans found the comparison amusing, with one commenting, “Brilliant! Probably felt as light as a balloon,” while another remarked, “Feeling like the third wheel.”

Sam Thompson claimed victory as the King of the Jungle on Sunday, December 10, surpassing Tony Bellew and Nigel Farage, who were the runners-up.
