The Los Angeles Fire Department has recently issued a statement stating that Matthew was “repositioned” by his assistant. A spokesperson for the LAFD informed The Mirror that Los Angeles City Firefighters were dispatched to the 18000 block of West Blue Sail Drive at 4:07 PM on October 28, 2023. They discovered an adult male unconscious in a standalone hot tub.
A passerby had managed to bring the man’s head above the water and bring him to the edge. Upon the Firefighters’ arrival, they promptly removed him from the water. Unfortunately, a swift medical assessment confirmed that the man had passed away prior to the arrival of the first responders.

According to law enforcement sources who spoke to TMZ, prescription medications were discovered at his residence. They reported finding antidepressants, anti-anxiety medications, and a COPD drug in the house.
