The Masked Singer US recently concluded its tenth series with the announcement of its winner.

During the finale on December 20, Sea Queen, Gazelle, Cow, and Donut competed for the coveted ‘Golden Mask’ trophy. Ultimately, Cow emerged victorious, delivering a rendition of Rihanna’s ‘Take a Bow’ before revealing himself as singer Ne-Yo.

Ne-Yo had previously participated in the UK edition of the show in 2021, disguised as Badger. Despite finishing second to Joss Stone’s Sausage, Ne-Yo shared that he chose the UK version first as he believed his identity might be more swiftly recognized by American audiences due to his distinctive voice.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Ne-Yo expressed, “I felt like on the American version, I would get caught quicker. People would recognize my voice a little faster. So I did the U.K. version thinking that I had a better shot at winning, and it turns out I didn’t win, but that was fine. That was totally fine. I had a ball with it. And the same thing with this one. I had so much fun.”

The Masked Singer US is broadcast on Fox.
