Married at First Sight Star Announces Engagement, Prompting an Outpouring of Congratulations

 

Former participant of ‘Married At First Sight Australia’, Nadia Stamp, has recently become engaged, marking six years since her unconventional union on the dating show.

At the age of 41, Nadia, who featured in the fourth series of the Australian reality programme back in 2017, has since found love with a different partner, with whom she is now planning to tie the knot.

Taking to Instagram this Wednesday, she joyfully announced her engagement to the accomplished cricketer, Glen Talarico, with whom she shares an 18-month-old daughter named Giselle. The picturesque setting of Noosa, Queensland served as the backdrop for their heartwarming photos.

Nadia expressed her delight, stating, ‘I’m so excited to embark on this new journey with my beloved and our little one. He’s officially put a ring on it.

The television personality proudly displayed her dazzling diamond engagement ring, sharing a video of the moment as she marked the occasion with a celebratory glass of wine and a fresh manicure.

Her devoted fans wasted no time in showering her with congratulations. One enthusiastic supporter exclaimed, “Oh wow! I’m so so so happy for you!! And that ring is beyond stunning.”

Another chimed in, “Congratulations Nadia and Glen, what a beautiful couple, and you both look so happy. Also, that’s an absolutely gorgeous ring.”

A third well-wisher gushed, “Congratulations!!! What a beautiful family and a beautiful ring.”

Nadia also received warm wishes from her fellow MAFS co-star Andrew “Jonesy” Jones, with whom she shared a number of memorable, albeit awkward, dinner party moments during the series.

While on the dating show, she had been paired with Anthony Manton, leading to heated arguments with Jonesy’s partner Cheryl Maitland, who he brought in after their respective original partnerships fell apart early on.

Cheryl and Jonesy’s relationship was marred by his disrespectful comments about her to the other grooms, and Anthony accused her of returning to the show solely for the pursuit of fame.

Although Nadia concluded her MAFS journey alongside Anthony, she arrived alone at the reunion dinner party, revealing that he had vanished shortly after filming concluded.

Reflecting on the experience, she lamented, “I returned to Sydney and as soon as the cameras stopped rolling, he dropped me like a hotcake.”

Nadia has been in a relationship with Glen since 2018, their connection initially sparked by a chance encounter at a football match.

In 2021, she joyfully announced her pregnancy, culminating in the arrival of their bundle of joy, baby Giselle, in 2022.
