Manhunt Underway Following ‘Serious Assault’ in Plymouth
Plymouth Police Search for Suspect After "Serious Assault" in West Hoe Area


Devon and Cornwall Police reported that officers were called at 8:55 pm GMT on Wednesday after a person was discovered with serious injuries on West Hoe Road. Paramedics treated the individual at the scene before they were transported to Derriford Hospital.
According to the police, the victim and the suspect are believed to be known to each other.
Detectives are urging anyone with information to come forward.
Detective Chief Inspector Dave Pebworth stated that there is a significant police presence in the area, with officers actively searching for the suspect and conducting enquiries.
“We believe this to be an isolated incident, and there is no immediate risk to the wider public,” Mr Pebworth said.
He also requested the public to avoid the West Hoe area while the investigation is ongoing.
