MAFS star Ella unveils a life-altering career shift: ‘I discovered my true value’
Ella Morgan, from Married at First Sight UK, has resigned from her role as a clinic consultant to pursue an exciting career opportunity. In an exclusive conversation with OK!, she shared, "My aspirations are finally becoming a reality!"
Ella Morgan, a participant on Married At First Sight UK, has disclosed a significant career shift following her stint on the show. The 29-year-old, notable as the first transgender contestant on the E4 dating programme, announced her departure from her role as a clinical consultant. She expressed her aspiration to venture into the realm of TV presenting.
In an exclusive interview with OK!, Ella highlighted, “I’ve come to recognise my value, and that realization has been the most rewarding outcome for me. I’ve resigned from my job, and my future aspirations revolve around delving into documentaries and pursuing TV presenting. I consider myself fortunate as there’s room for me in this industry, given the limited representation of transgender presenters.”
She expressed her desire to appear on daytime TV or “evening prime time”.
“I’ve held onto this dream since childhood, hoping it’ll all pay off,” she mentioned.
“Deep down, I’ve always known I’m meant to advocate for transgender issues. That’s my purpose on this planet. I don’t fancy being stuck in an office dealing with patients – I want to be on TV, getting on everyone’s nerves.”
Ella expressed her aspirations to participate in I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here someday.
“I aim to be a representative for the transgender community while enjoying myself, such as taking on challenges like the Jungle and similar opportunities.”
During her time on E4’s MAFS, Ella initially connected with Nathaniel Valentino, but their relationship didn’t endure. Instead, she found a romantic connection with JJ Slater.
In the recent MAFS episode, Ella and JJ mutually agreed to part ways as friends. Presently, Ella has decided to direct her attention towards herself.
“I intend to remain unattached for a while and concentrate on my career,” she shared with OK!, mentioning the need for some personal healing post her experience on the show.
“Realizing I’m not quite prepared for a relationship, I’m planning a personal transformation and some quality time out with my friends.”
“I have a significant amount of personal healing to undertake following my experience on the show. There’s a lot of inner work that I need to address, something I hadn’t fully grasped until being part of the show – I believe this became evident to me while watching it and observing the feedback on social media.”
