Karen Hauer, star of Strictly Come Dancing, separates from husband Jordan Wyn-Jones ‘following a challenging period’.

 

Karen Hauer has reportedly ended her marriage with Jordan Wyn-Jones after just a year.

The 41-year-old Strictly Come Dancing professional wowed viewers last week by earning the first perfect score of the series with her partner Eddie Kadi. Karen, who holds the record as the longest-serving dancer on the BBC ballroom dancing show, tied the knot with Jordan last June.

Speculation about their separation arose when Karen was photographed without her wedding ring at the Pride of Britain Awards. A source has now confirmed to The Mirror: “Karen and Jordan have faced challenges in recent months and have decided to part ways.”

They went on to say, “It’s naturally a sad situation for both of them. However, there are no hard feelings. The split is amicable, and they both genuinely wish each other the best.”

Karen was previously married to her former dance partner Matthew Hauer from 2000 to 2009, and later to ex-Strictly star Kevin Clifton, with whom she was married from 2015 to 2018.

Last year, she tied the knot with Jordan in an extravagant ceremony at Chewton Glen in Hampshire, describing the experience as nothing short of a “fairytale”. Speaking to Hello magazine, she shared, “I haven’t seen my family for the past two years, so it’s incredibly heartwarming to have them here and be able to share this extraordinary moment with them.”

The couple made their relationship public in 2021, when Jordan posted a heartfelt message expressing his gratitude for being with Karen. He wrote, “32 years… absolutely worth every twist and turn that life could throw at me, just so I could hold you in my arms. How can someone like me be so fortunate to have found my soulmate? Can’t wait to have you home.”
