Joe Sugg has finally spoken out following an incident involving Bobby Brazier allegedly attempting to kiss his dance partner, Dianne Buswell, after their recent performance on Strictly Come Dancing.

On the evening of Saturday, November 5, the duo delivered a passionate Argentine Tango performance to the tune of “Sail” by AWOLATION. The performance concluded with what appeared to be an attempted real kiss from the 20-year-old EastEnders actor, which some fans claim Dianne “pulled away” from.

Dianne, who has been in a committed relationship with her former Strictly partner, Joe Sugg, since they first met on the BBC show in 2018, appeared to handle the near-kiss gracefully. Joe, the YouTuber, showed his support for the duo by sharing a clip of their dance on social media, accompanied by the words: “Wow, amazing!! Well done, you two @diannebuswell @bobbybrazier. LOVED IT.”

Strictly fans also took to social media to express their thoughts, with one fan commenting, “Not that it means anything, as I know Dianne is happy with Joe, but I’m 99% sure Bobby went in for a kiss after that dance… got a bit caught up in the moment, I think.”

Joe and Dianne have been together since 2018

A second person exclaimed: “Hold on a minute! Did we just witness a full-blown kiss at the end of Bobby and Diane’s dance? I’m quite certain we did!”

Another person chimed in: “They’re pushing the boundaries of a family-friendly rating there. I could’ve sworn I saw them lock lips for a moment.”

A fourth inquired: “Did Bobby and Diane really share a kiss or were they just exceptionally close together?” Meanwhile, someone else pondered: “Um… did they kiss?”

The judges weighed in as well. Craig Revel Horwood expressed that he found the routine “overly assertive” and felt that Bobby wasn’t taking the lead. On the other hand, Motsi Mabuse had a more favourable response, noting that she could see the soap star’s determination and strength on the dance floor.

Their performance garnered a score of 30 out of 40 points. This follows an exclusive revelation from a TV insider to the Daily Star, stating that Dianne has had to make it clear to Bobby that they are simply friends.

After spending extensive hours together in training, the source disclosed that Dianne has had to create some distance between them. They mentioned, “Dianne told him, ‘We are good friends, partners, nothing more’.” The insider went on to say that Bobby is smitten with her, but the sentiment is not reciprocated by the professional.
