Jamie Lynn Spears has departed from ‘I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’ due to health concerns
The star from "Zoey 101" also took part in "Dancing With the Stars" and "Special Forces: World's Toughest Test" this year.
ITV revealed that Jamie Lynn Spears has departed from the cast of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! due to medical reasons. The network praised her as an outstanding campmate who excelled in trials and forged strong connections with her fellow celebrities.
This marks the second exit from the 23rd series of the British reality show, following journalist Grace Dent’s departure on the 11th day of the series.
During Tuesday’s episode, the actress openly expressed her disdain for the survival experience, stating, “I hate it here so much, I hate it here so much, I hate it here so much. I hate it, I hate it, I hate it here.” Spears conveyed a sentiment of distress, describing the place as where individuals encounter their most challenging days. She vocalized thoughts of leaving the show, expressing a need to depart from the environment.
However, her encounter wasn’t entirely adverse. “I truly believe I’ve forged lifelong friendships here. I know it’s a common thing to say, almost cliché, but genuinely, I have,” she expressed. “I’m generally quite reserved. Yet, with these individuals, I’ve allowed a complete opening. Being here has unveiled a facet of me that perhaps I’ve always possessed but had simply forgotten.”
Earlier this year, Spears featured on the inaugural season of Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test, where she chose to withdraw voluntarily during the third episode. She also starred in Zoey 102, the Paramount+ film continuation of her Nickelodeon series Zoey 101, and participated in the current season of Dancing With the Stars, exiting the competition in its third episode.
