Linda Robson, the 65-year-old actress, is considering a stint in the Celebrity Big Brother house, becoming the potential addition to the next lineup of Loose Women stars to step into the famous reality show.

Expressing her openness to new experiences, Robson mentioned her willingness to explore diverse ventures, including joining the forthcoming series featuring renowned personalities in 2024. Notably, her colleagues Coleen Nolan and Denise Welch emerged victorious in previous seasons of this social experiment.

Assuring her loved ones that there won’t be any divulging of private matters, Robson pointed out that her sobriety eliminates concerns about revealing secrets, having abstained from alcohol for three years.

Speaking to the Daily Star, Robson stated, “I believe I’m ready for it now since I’ve refrained from drinking for three years. Concerns about my participation might have arisen had I been consuming wine, but now, I won’t be intoxicated and spilling any secrets. I’m open to the idea. I relish stepping out of the house; confinement isn’t to my liking. Anything that allows me to break away from my routine, be it holidays or otherwise, holds appeal. At 65, I’m inclined to embrace new opportunities rather than decline them.”

“Since reaching 60 years old, I’ve undertaken quite an adventurous journey. I’ve leapt out of an aeroplane, swum with sharks in Miami, and even conquered Ben Nevis alongside Nadia Sawalha and Kaye Adams. Remarkably, my daughter and son joined us in this feat. It was an incredibly challenging experience that almost pushed my limits; I believe my body was truly taken aback. Nevertheless, despite it being the toughest challenge I’ve faced, I persevered and accomplished it.”

“Linda made her debut on the ITV daytime talk show Loose Women two decades ago as a guest panelist. Since 2012, she has become a regular presence on the programme. Much like her colleagues, Linda is known for candidly sharing glimpses of her personal life beyond the camera. Her family, however, has cautioned her about occasionally divulging too much to the viewers tuning in from home.”

I occasionally receive reprimands. Even if individuals aren’t watching the show, I’ll receive texts saying, ‘Guess what your mum said today.’ I pride myself on my honesty, yet I assure you, I’m not a cruel woman.” The actress from Birds of a Feather recently took a hiatus from Loose Women but is delighted to reunite with her colleagues. She elaborated, “I took a brief break as my sister wasn’t well, so I took her on a cruise. It’s lovely to return and reconnect with everyone.

We’ve been pre-recording shows for the Christmas period too. Earlier this year, Linda joined her friends from Loose Women on their tour across the UK. Reflecting on their travels, Linda expressed, ‘The tour this year was incredible. Stepping out of the stage door was akin to the excitement surrounding Take That, with people eagerly waiting for us.’

She added, ‘I think it’s easy to overlook the fact that many individuals, particularly the elderly who spend most of their day at home, see us as their companions and tune in to watch us every day. It feels like going to work with your friends daily. We spend a lot of time together socially, and our Christmas party is just around the corner, so we’ll all be there.’

You can catch Loose Women airing on ITV1 and ITVX every weekday at 12:30 pm.
