Fans of "I'm A Celebrity" were left astounded as Jamie Lynn Spears, sister of Britney Spears, seemed to share a kiss with one of her fellow campmates following Fred Sirieix and Nella Rose's triumph in a task.
The latest twist on ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’ turned heads when two campmates were seen sharing what appeared to be a kiss.
However, the situation took an unexpected turn as it seemed to be an accidental encounter, leaving both individuals with partners back at home. Jamie Lynn Spears, aged 32, unknowingly engaged in a smooch but couldn’t identify the recipient.
After teammates Fred Sirieix and Nella Rose triumphantly returned to the main camp following their win over Nick Pickard and Marvin Humes in the Slam Dunked challenge, the camp erupted in jubilation.
Amidst the celebratory chaos, Jamie Lynn Spears raised the question, “Did I kiss someone? Because I have repellent on my lips!” Sam Thompson, the Made in Chelsea personality, jokingly claimed to be the fortunate recipient.
“You actually kissed me,” the 31-year-old exclaimed, nodding enthusiastically. Jamie couldn’t help but find the situation amusing as she responded, “Well, I suppose I’ll need to clarify that with my husband.”
Presenters Ant and Dec were left bemused by the incident. Dec inquired, “Was it a kiss on the lips?” Ant chuckled, “Indeed, and they’re both in relationships!”
He mentioned a past joke about former boxer David Haye, jesting, “So, that implies they’re now in a threesome!”
Audiences were just as perplexed by the flurry of kisses and flocked to X, formerly known as Twitter, to untangle the confusion. One person tweeted, “Jamie Lynn kissed Sam Thompson! WHATTTTT #ImACeleb”
Another person remarked, “Did Jamie and Sam really kiss? Was it accidental? Haha, Zara McDermott might just have a complete meltdown.” Another chimed in, saying, “I can’t stop laughing! Jamie-Lyn and Sam had an accidental happy kiss.”
Jamie has been married to businessman Jamie Watson since 2014, while Sam is currently in a relationship with former Love Island star Zara McDermott.
