Olivia Young, the runner-up on Big Brother, has expressed her interest in joining the cast of Strictly Come Dancing. Hailing from Glasgow, the accomplished dancer gained fame during this year’s revival of the show. Olivia captivated audiences with her charming personality and memorable catchphrases.

Her remarkable journey led her to the finals of Big Brother, ultimately securing the runner-up position in the 2023 series, as Jordan Sangha claimed victory and the £100,000 prize.

Having completed one reality show triumphantly, Olivia is setting her sights on participating in the popular BBC show, Strictly Come Dancing. However, there’s one particular show she’s not enthusiastic about being part of.

In an exclusive interview with the Daily Star and other media outlets, dancer Olivia expressed her strong affinity for the glamorous BBC show Strictly Come Dancing.

“I absolutely adore Strictly. However, I’m not sure if I’m high-profile enough for it,” she admitted.

Nevertheless, Olivia is eager to showcase her skills on the renowned dance floor. She remarked, “If Strictly offered me the chance, I’d enthusiastically don a rhinestone jumpsuit and dive right in.”

Regarding her preference for reality shows, Olivia isn’t keen on ITV2’s Love Island, the sun-soaked dating programme. She mentioned, “It’s a different aspect of oneself to reveal on television.”

She further remarked, “I shared a lot of myself during my time on Big Brother. I’m uncertain if I’d be prepared to expose my emotions in that manner for the public eye.”

This follows after Jordan, the victor of Big Brother 2023, hinted at a surprising career shift. He previously practised law before entering the TV residence.

“As for the type of television projects I’d consider, I’m open to anything,” he added. Jordan also speculated that his conduct during his time in the Big Brother house might impact his legal career. He quipped, “I’ll need to find work after this, considering all the shenanigans I engaged in while in the house!”
