Nella became the second contestant to be voted out of the camp, following jockey Frankie Dettori’s departure. The show’s official account mentioned, ‘Nella’s remarkable journey saw her confront and overcome numerous fears, but the audience’s votes signify the end of her time in the Jungle.’

“Lorraine Kelly informed viewers about the upcoming events after Nella’s exit from the jungle last night. ‘It’s regrettable that she’s not engaging with anyone, but moving forward, I’ll be joined by Nick Pickard’s girlfriend, Sarah.’

“However, she has now broken her silence regarding her departure from the show, speaking via video link on This Morning.

“‘The jungle intensifies everything,’ she explained when questioned about her clash with Fred, mentioning that his remarks were triggering. Despite this, she maintained that they were still on good terms.

“Nella continued, ‘I haven’t had the chance to review anything yet, but I’m aware of all that occurred. It’s a major misunderstanding – we’ve moved past it.’

“She added, ‘I understand it’s television, and it’s live.’

“Discussing fellow contestant Nigel Farage, the MTV presenter remarked, ‘We had some thought-provoking discussions that needed to take place. It’s just the way things are. It’s beneficial to hear diverse viewpoints.

Certainly, here’s a rephrased version in UK English:

Regarding whether she would have handled things differently, Nella asserted, “I’m as straightforward as they come. You either adore me or detest me – I’m a bit like Marmite.”

During her stint in the jungle, Nella garnered a considerable following for her unreserved approach, notably engaging in a heated discussion about immigration with the divisive politician Nigel Farage.

Reflecting on Farage during her exit interview with Ant and Dec, Nella remarked, “I admire Nigel as a person, but once he delves into his true beliefs, I’m left questioning, ‘You’re a decent chap, but why those views?'”

She also found herself unexpectedly at odds with Fred Sirieix after his offhand comment about being old enough to be her father struck a sensitive chord. Nella tragically lost her own father in 2020.

Expressing her feelings, she stated, “I believe sensitive subjects shouldn’t surface in the midst of a disagreement. It felt unnecessary.”

When prompted if the incident might have been a misunderstanding, she added, “Perhaps, but emotions run high in the jungle, amplifying everything.”

At one stage, it seemed Nella’s time in camp might be cut short due to medical reasons.

In a statement, a spokesperson from ITV clarified: ‘Due to medical reasons, Nella Rose is currently under the care of the show’s on-site medical team and is expected to rejoin the camp shortly.

‘Consequently, she will not be participating in the upcoming trial.’

Fortunately, she swiftly resumed her involvement in the competition.

‘I’m a Celebrity’ will resume at 9pm on both ITV and ITVX.
