The Hollyoaks star revealed her newborn daughter’s name, opting for the distinctive and celebratory moniker Cookie Al Rainford.

Although Chelsee, aged 35, welcomed her baby on December 22, she took two days before sharing images of ‘Welcome baby girl’ balloons adorning a white and cream cot, showcasing her newborn nestled inside.

On Instagram, she simply captioned the post for her 625,000 followers: ‘Cookie Al Rainford. 22.12.2023. 6lb,’ after previously flaunting her pregnancy journey on the platform.

This latest addition marks the Waterloo Road star’s second daughter, following her firstborn Coco, aged five, whom she shares with Jack Molloy.

Announcing her pregnancy, Chelsee shared snapshots with her first child, expressing, ‘Baby number 2. I am unsure if I or the world is ready for another Coco! But WE are more than ready.’

Ever since Coco started talking, she’s been wishing for a baby sibling. I feel incredibly fortunate to fulfill her wish and become a mother of two. I’m eagerly anticipating welcoming another little one into our lives to love unconditionally. We’re thrilled to meet you, our precious baby.

Her announcement received an outpouring of congratulations from friends, fans, and well-known personalities.

“Congratulations beautiful ❤️,” Christine McGuinness shared, while Ferne McCann added: “Congratulations darling ❤️.”

Throughout this pregnancy, Chelsee has faced various health concerns and has been sharing her experiences on Instagram stories.

She expressed, “I’ve been experiencing severe migraines during this pregnancy, where my vision completely disappears, followed by intense headaches.”

The actress has been raising Coco as a single mother after parting ways with her daughter’s father, Jack, and has chosen to keep the identity of her current partner private.

Chelsee has portrayed Goldie McQueen intermittently since 2016 and is most recognised for her role as Janeece Bryant in the BBC One drama ‘Waterloo Road’.

Chelsee pleasantly surprised viewers with her appearance in the show earlier this year. She attended the funeral of her friend Chlo (played by Katie Griffiths) and offered support to Donte (played by Adam Thomas).
