In a recent police operation at a farm in Nottinghamshire, a cache of stolen vehicles was uncovered. The search, carried out on Ollerton Road, Carburton, led officers to a shipping container on the premises. Within, they discovered a Land Rover Defender and a black Land Rover Sport HSE.

Additional investigations in other outbuildings yielded five more vehicles, consisting of two BMWs, two Mercedes models, and a red Jaguar F-PACE V6. A 63-year-old man and a 67-year-old woman were apprehended on suspicion of handling stolen goods and have since been released on bail.

Upon conducting checks, it was confirmed that these cars had been reported stolen from various locations including London, Warwickshire, Birmingham, Derbyshire, and Newcastle.

According to Nottinghamshire Police, this operation, executed on Sunday, forms part of a broader inquiry into the interception of four shipping containers – each containing pilfered vehicles – at ports in London, Felixstowe, and Southampton on 3rd, 10th, and 12th October. In total, eleven stolen vehicles were recovered across these four containers.
