Fresh claims of a feud on ‘I’m A Celebrity’ arise as Nella Rose reportedly ‘snubs’ unexpected co-stars
Social media influencer Nella Rose encountered conflicts with several campmates while participating in the ITV reality show, leading her to opt for avoiding certain campmates on social media.
Nella Rose, aged 26, has distanced herself from several fellow participants of ‘I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’ shortly after departing from the jungle.
The social media influencer found herself at odds with multiple campmates during her stint on the ITV reality show, and it appears that unresolved tensions linger post-exit. Notably absent from Nella’s Instagram following list are Grace Dent, Nick Pickard, and Nigel Farage.
Despite the discord within the Australian camp, Nella chose to follow First Dates star Fred Sirieix. At the time of writing, Grace is currently following Nella on the photo-sharing platform, but Nick and Nigel are not reciprocating.
While Sam Thompson emerged as the series winner, he later revealed his inability to retain some of the prizes. During a segment on This Morning dated Monday, December 18, Sam, accompanied by recent Strictly Come Dancing champions Ellie Leach and her partner Vito Coppola, shared a surprising revelation about his ‘I’m A Celeb’ journey.
While discussing their respective show memorabilia, Sam shared that he couldn’t hold onto any keepsakes from his time on the show, despite emerging victorious. Responding to hosts Craig Doyle and Josie Gibson, the latter being a fellow campmate who finished fourth on the show, Sam humorously remarked, “I didn’t get to keep anything! They wouldn’t let me keep anything!”
He went on to disclose that he had to part ways even with the iconic I’m A Celeb crown and sceptre. “I had to give the sceptre back,” he continued, jokingly expressing his desire to bring it through airport security due to its size. “But yeah, I don’t have anything to show for it,” Sam concluded. Meanwhile, Strictly winner Ellie Leach proudly exhibited her coveted Strictly Glitterball trophy, leaving Sam sitting there empty-handed.
While the exact financial gain for Sam during the show remains uncertain, celebrities typically receive compensation ranging from £30,000 to £600,000. Grace Dent is said to have earned £100,000, while Jamie-Lynn secured a substantial £250,000. Responding to Nigel Farage’s impressive £1.5 million payday, Sam shared with The Times, “It wasn’t about money or a career move; I genuinely wanted to experience eating camel’s penis. Meeting Ant [McPartlin] and Dec [Donnelly] was a personal goal, as they are my lifelong heroes and the most iconic figures in my life.”
Although Sam returned from the jungle without tangible souvenirs, he carries numerous memorable experiences from the adventure. Amidst the Australian wilderness, he formed a close bond with former boxer Tony Bellew, and their heartwarming bromance quickly captured the nation’s interest. The 31-year-old Made In Chelsea star and the 41-year-old sportsman entertained viewers with their antics, and it appears that their camaraderie continues to flourish beyond the jungle’s confines.
Sam openly conveyed his yearning for Tony via his Instagram stories, while Tony himself utilised social media to voice his conviction that Sam was deserving of being crowned the King of the Jungle. The duo reached the final together, and Sam narrowly surpassed Tony to claim the title of King of the Jungle 2023 on 10th December.
Recently, Sam shared a poignant selfie on Instagram, captioning it with “Missing you,” and tagging Tony. In his subsequent Instagram story post, Sam was captured strolling with his girlfriend, Zara McDermott, 27, reminiscing about his jungle adventures with Tony. He jovially remarked, “She wants me to shut up,” as he recounted their escapades to her.
