In the realm of human strength, 34-year-old Bjornsson has carved a formidable legacy as Iceland’s strongest man, clinching the coveted title on multiple occasions. His journey reached a pinnacle at the World’s Strongest Man competition, where he secured his first podium finish in 2012, ultimately triumphing in 2018.

Beyond the rugged terrain of strongman contests, he is a familiar face to avid TV enthusiasts as ‘The Mountain’ in the acclaimed series Game of Thrones. Expanding his cinematic footprint, he took on a role in the 2022 film The Northman, under the direction of Robert Eggers.

Adding another dimension to his prowess, Bjornsson ventured into the boxing ring in 2020, engaging in a much-anticipated clash with former strongman rival Eddie Hall two years later. The event, coined ‘The Mountain vs the Beast,’ concluded in Bjornsson’s favour, securing a unanimous decision victory.
