English footballer Trent Alexander-Arnold found himself in a collision with another vehicle when a pylon succumbed to the powerful gusts of Storm Badet. The incident occurred on Friday morning along a country lane near Knutsford, Cheshire. Fortunately, Cheshire Police reported no injuries resulting from the collision, which occurred amidst Storm Babet’s deadly passage across the nation, claiming three lives and leaving a trail of widespread flooding and high winds.
A spokesperson informed, stating, “At 10.34am, we were alerted to a road traffic incident involving a black Range Rover and a BMW. An electricity pole had toppled onto the road, precipitating the accident. Fortunately, there were no injuries, and the scene was cleared by 1.05pm. We promptly notified the energy company and arranged for the power supply to be disconnected.”

At 25 years of age, Alexander-Arnold took the field in today’s Merseyside derby between Liverpool and Everton, which commenced at 12:30 pm.
