In the festive episodes, a fearsome adversary emerges for our protagonist. Chloe’s father, portrayed by Jessie Elland, becomes a source of considerable concern. There’s a revelation that links him to Mackenzie’s disappearance, adding urgency to Charity’s investigation.

Emma hinted at the climax of this ongoing storyline in a recent interview with Metro.co.uk. She mentioned a pivotal moment for Charity when she spots Chloe with an unfamiliar individual, sparking her curiosity. Charity becomes suspicious, realising Mackenzie’s absence feels suspicious, prompting her to delve deeper into the situation.

The plot unfolds with Chloe’s father, revealed to be Harry/Damon, having Mackenzie captive in an abandoned warehouse. Harry/Damon’s history of violence, including brutal attacks and past kidnappings, intensifies the danger.

Charity pieces together the potential involvement of Chloe’s father in Mackenzie’s disappearance and seeks aid from Chas, who recognises the severity of the situation upon identifying Harry/Damon.

Emma explained, “Chas is taken aback, recognising Harry, the man who once abducted her.” This revelation leaves Charity reeling, connecting the dots between past events and Mackenzie’s sudden vanishing. The implication of Harry/Damon’s actions raises chilling questions about Mackenzie’s safety in his hands.

Charity swiftly decides to accompany Harry, with Chas following suit.

‘Now, Chas is grappling with PTSD from her ordeal,’ Emma elaborated. ‘Charity, however, can’t tackle this alone. They find themselves at an abandoned warehouse, tracing a commotion since their cars have been separated, leaving them clueless about Harry’s exact whereabouts.

‘That’s where their mission takes shape, a quest to locate Mackenzie. But what they uncover isn’t remotely pleasant.’

Upon learning the situation, Charity embodies the quintessential Dingle spirit, as Emma described.

‘It’s almost sinful, isn’t it, being a Dingle? Naturally, they should involve the police. But there’s something about the Dingles—they believe they can resolve everything internally, leading to dire circumstances.’

Despite Chas comprehending Harry’s perilous nature, Emma disclosed that Charity will go to any lengths to protect Mackenzie.

‘Love blinds her. She’s utterly devoted to Mackenzie and will go to any extent for his safety. That’s when the moral compass tends to sway,’ Emma added.

But would she resort to murder for the man she loves?

‘You’ll have to wait and see,’ teased Emma.

‘I don’t believe she inherently possesses the inclination to kill. Yet, she might potentially consider it to shield those she deeply cares for. It’s possibly a human instinct to defend, but who knows?’ she pondered.

Indeed, the possibility looms as evil Harry eventually brandishes a firearm. As a gunshot resonates, the question remains—who will collapse, fighting for their life?
