According to a source, “Cherry has her own career and isn’t drawn to Ed’s fame. Ed admires her passion for her own pursuits.

“Babes In Armour was an idea she co-developed with her friend, costume designer Jemima Penny, and there are numerous prospects in the works.

“They’ve trademarked the name and are ironing out the specifics of their upcoming venture. It’s quite thrilling.”

While the couple prefers privacy regarding their relationship, the singer hinted at possible issues between them on his recent album, Autumn Variations.

In his song Punchline, Ed suggested that Cherry “might have ended their relationship,” as per one of the lyrics.

The lyrics carry on: “I find myself in a destructive phase, unable to shake this feeling. It’s been weeks since your presence lingered. My room echoes with a deafening silence—a symphony of lost hope.

“My room resonates with a deafening silence—a portrait of despair.”

Throughout the poignant chorus, it continues: “I can’t help but love you deeply. I struggle with releasing this grip. I still believe there’s a chance for resolution. All I am is flesh and bone. Why does your heart remain so cold?”

However, fans needn’t worry just yet, as Ed has previously discussed the album, highlighting that it draws from both his own experiences and those of his friends.
