Celebrity Big Brother Star, 57, Charged Following Inebriated Altercation Leading to Flight Delay

 

Celebrity Big Brother star Sam Fox, aged 57, finds herself facing charges following an alleged ‘drunken bust-up’ aboard a flight from Heathrow to Munich, leading to inconveniences for fellow passengers.

The former page three celebrity is due to answer to allegations of being intoxicated during the flight and engaging in the use of abusive or insulting language when she makes her court appearance later this month.

Following a reported altercation with another passenger that resulted in a delay on the 3rd of December, Sam ended up spending a night in a police cell.

The Sun has reported that the British Airways flight, initially set for takeoff, had to make a last-minute return, prompting passengers to disembark. This was attributed to Munich airport’s strict 10pm curfew.

Consequently, the passengers were accommodated in a nearby hotel and arranged to take an alternative flight the next day.

Sam is set to make an appearance at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court in West London on the 22nd of March. Earlier in January, The Sun reported Sam expressing deep regret for any inconvenience caused and confirmed her cooperation with the ongoing investigation.

Representatives for Sam have been approached for a statement by News Prime.

Rising to stardom in 1983 as a page 3 model for The Sun newspaper, the renowned glamour model and pop singer swiftly became one of the era’s most photographed women. Her collaboration with the newspaper continued until 1986, marking her as an iconic figure of the 80s.

The recent incident involving Sam on a British Airways flight came in the wake of a profound personal loss. Last year, she was devastated by the sudden death of her sister Vanessa, who suffered a heart attack at the age of 50.

Vanessa tragically died just a few days after Sam had completed her filming for Celebrity MasterChef.

In her autobiography titled “Forever” published in 2017, Sam shared details of her deep connection with Vanessa, who had rescued her from their father Pat, who struggled with alcoholism. She described a harrowing incident, stating, “I thought he was going to kill me and begged him to stop. When I tried to rise, he delivered a kick to my stomach with such force that it winded me, and he didn’t cease.”

Following Vanessa’s death in March of the previous year, a spokesperson for Sam expressed, “Sam wishes to extend her gratitude towards the incredible medical staff for their exceptional care and support. During this challenging period, Sam and her family would like to request privacy.”
