The passing of the TV personality was confirmed last month on November 9 in Stone Mountain, Georgia.

Mallory, employed as a makeup artist, featured in the ABC series’ fourth season back in 2014.

Commencing the programme at 329 lb, Mallory shed 151 lb during the course, engaging in a Half Ironman spanning 70.3 miles.

According to a document acquired by TMZ, the Fulton County Medical Examiner in Georgia verified Mallory’s cause of death. The report indicated an enlarged heart and elevated blood indicators suggestive of prediabetes.

The coroner’s document stated, as per the publication: ‘It is my opinion that Brandi E. Mallory died of complications of obesity, considered a significant contributing factor to her passing.’

The coroner reportedly characterised Mallory’s passing as ‘natural’ and verified that the presence of marijuana and alcohol in her system did not contribute to her demise.

Back in 2018, she candidly shared her encounter with undergoing Extreme Weight Loss.

During an interview on journalist Kirby Carroll’s YouTube channel, she expressed, “I would wake up every day thinking… this might be my final day, uncertain about what the future held for me.”

She frequently opened up to her thousands of Instagram followers on her fitness journey (Picture: Brandi Mallory/ Instagram)

“When concerns about my weight start troubling me, fearing it might endanger my life, it becomes crucial to address such matters.”

She elaborated, “Every action since then felt providential. I earnestly prayed over the application before sending it and continued to pray at every stage.”

Mallory’s last Instagram post, shared on November 3, depicted her in a video enjoying a bite from a red apple she discovered at a local farmer’s market.

Her family conducted a memorial service for her on November 12.
