‘Tis the season for Christmas parties, and the cast of Coronation Street made a collective effort to dazzle on their festive night out.

The ladies, in particular, showcased a splendid array of glitz and glamour at Manchester’s Refuge bar on Friday, December 7. Adorned in their finest attire, the women posed elegantly for photographs before stepping into the celebration.

Tina O’Brien, aged 40, known for portraying Sarah Barlow in the soap opera, looked absolutely stunning in her crimson mini dress. Her strapless bodice, embellished with sequins, perfectly complemented the skirt, fashioned as an oversized satin bow. Paired with open-toe heels and a sparkly clutch, she accessorised the ensemble with tasteful gold jewellery.

Lucy Fallon, aged 28, arrived dressed in a sheer black bodysuit beneath a royal blue velvet blazer. She complemented her outfit with knee-high stockings and jewelled bow heels. Lucy, alongside her footballer boyfriend Ryan Ledson, celebrated the arrival of their first baby in January.

Tanish Gorey, known for portraying Asha Alahan, wore her sleek dark hair cascading over a brown maxi dress. Channique Sterling-Brown, who plays Dee-Dee Bailey, joined the trio, donning a black sequin-embellished mini dress for the photo.

Mollie Gallagher opted for a grunge-inspired ensemble, looking stunning in a leopard print slip beneath a full-length maroon PVC jacket paired with olive green platform boots. She has portrayed Nina Lucas in Corrie since November 2019. Jennie McAlpine, also known as Fiz Brown, graced the night out in a blue jumpsuit, having welcomed her third baby in April.

At the same event, Harriet Bibby, known for her role as Summer Spellman, opted for a touch of festive glamour by pairing a silver glittery top with a black miniskirt featuring a feathered hem.

The festive season on Weatherfield’s cobbles always brings its share of drama, and this year is no exception for the locals. Alan Halsall, known for portraying Tyrone Dobbs for the past 25 years, will be taking a Christmas break from the street. But he’s not alone in stepping away—long-standing couple Peter Barlow and Carla are facing turmoil as Peter decides it’s time to leave the street for new horizons.

Iain MacLeod, the soap’s executive producer, revealed that Boxing Day marks the climax of these events.

According to a report by Digital Spy, MacLeod commented, “They come to a significant crossroads in their relationship, where their love remains but their happiness might no longer solely depend on each other. There’s a growing contemplation about whether they’d find greater happiness elsewhere, in a different setting.”
