Announcing her return on Instagram this December, Nina shared the news that she’ll be back on the show in the New Year.

Nina Warhurst will return to BBC Breakfast in the New Year

“Back at @bbcbreakfast this week, gearing up for my return to work,” shared the mother of three, posting several behind-the-scenes snapshots from the show, where she had her baby girl, Nancy, by her side.

“I had my little companion with me, who absolutely soaked up all the attention – she must take after @fedbyted1 for that. Found a few more goodies waiting for me that reminded me of how wonderful our audience is. A novel from a bookseller, courtesy of a mention I made on-air about wanting a good read. Also, a postcard from Margate, reflecting my fondness for the 2p slot machines.”

Nina’s supporters swiftly rallied behind her. One person commented, “Missed you, and you look fantastic. It’s a big step returning to work… but you’ll be amazing!!!”

Another fan chimed in, saying, “Wishing you all the best, Nina! It’s wonderful to see you back, and I’m confident you’ll handle the work-life balance brilliantly!”
