Gogglebox personality celebrates arrival of new child and unveils adorable name for baby girl
Isabelle Silbery proudly announced the arrival of her first child with husband Alex Richards, joyfully welcoming their adorable baby girl. She described the experience as "empowering."

Isabelle Silbery, a well-known figure from Gogglebox Australia, has joyously welcomed her first child with her husband, Alex Richards.
The Australian social commentator shared the wonderful news with her 51,000 followers on Instagram over the weekend, revealing the arrival of her baby girl.
At 38 years old, she also disclosed her newborn daughter’s name, expressing to her fans that the birth was both “grounding and empowering.”
Accompanying the announcement was an endearing picture captured shortly after the birth, where Isabelle captioned the moment: “RUBY EMILY RICHARDS.”
In her words, “The female body is truly incredible. My daughter is here, and the experience was both grounding and empowering.”
She acknowledged the support received during this significant time, stating, “@embracejaclynw, we trusted you and you supported us. @ajrichards6, I’m deeply honoured to witness your devoted embrace of fatherhood. I’m feeling emotional and enveloped in a love-filled bubble.”

Friends and fans extended their congratulations to the couple on the arrival of their new addition. Fellow Gogglebox stars Lee and Keith conveyed their well-wishes, saying: ‘Congratulations on the safe arrival of Ruby Emily Richards. Hope everything went smoothly, Izzy. Welcome to fatherhood, Alex. Cheers.’
Angie Kent added her joy, saying: ‘I’m incredibly happy for you. Sending lots of love and a warm welcome to the world, little Ruby.’
Isabelle already has a nine-year-old son from a previous marriage, but Ruby is her first child with husband Alex Richards. Her previous marriage to Craig ended in 2017 after five years together. She has since moved forward in life with her second husband, Alex, and earlier this year, they expressed their immense delight in expecting their first child.

Isabella had previously disclosed her experience with multiple miscarriages, which heightened her concerns about successfully carrying a healthy baby to full term.
However, in June, the expectant mother announced her anticipation of welcoming a baby girl. Despite this joyous news, the reality TV star opened up about grappling with prenatal depression. Speaking to the Herald, she expressed, “I should be elated, but that’s not how I feel. I questioned what was wrong with me.”
She shared her emotional struggle, stating, “My eldest is nine, and there’s been a substantial gap between pregnancies. It takes considerable time to regain physical and mental equilibrium, and my current lifestyle is fulfilling. It was about allowing myself the space to acknowledge that things will eventually be alright.”

During the interview, she disclosed her limited knowledge about prenatal depression, noting that it receives less attention compared to postnatal depression.
She remarked, “After receiving appropriate therapy and medication, my perspective has shifted significantly. I now feel prepared, optimistic, and in the best mental state possible for this phase.”
