The newest trio of hosts will join Dermot O’Leary this week while Alison takes a temporary break to star in a pantomime.

All three presenters have previously fronted the show.

We’ve seen a series of other hosts in recent weeks, such as Emma Willis and Rylan Clark.

Among the roster were Josie Gibson, Cat Deeley, Craig Doyle, and Rochelle Humes.

“A source told The Mirror that there’s a wealth of talent available, and the spot is highly coveted in television.”

However, three fresh faces will grace the This Morning sofa.

This includes The One Show’s Christine Lampard, Mollie King from The Saturdays, and radio presenter Lisa Snowdon.

Christine, aged 44, will be joining Dermot, aged 50, today on 11 December, while 36-year-old Mollie will co-host This Morning on both Tuesday and Wednesday (12 and 13 December) with Lisa, aged 51, stepping onto the sofa on Thursday and Friday (14 and 15 December).

Regarding the decision, a source informed the outlet, “This gives us a great opportunity to mix things up and gauge what resonates well with the viewers.”

This decision follows extensive speculation about who would take Holly Willoughby’s place after her announcement of going on ‘indefinite leave’ from This Morning following an alleged kidnapping plot.

She conveyed, “Today, I informed ITV that after 14 years, I won’t be returning to This Morning,” in a formal statement.

Expressing gratitude, she continued, “To all who’ve been part of the show throughout these years, thank you immensely.”

“This farewell is incredibly tough; you’ve all been remarkable, and I’ll forever take pride in our collective achievements.

“I extend my thanks to everyone at ITV for their unwavering support. To every guest who graced our sofa, thank you.

“Above all, heartfelt appreciation goes to our wonderful viewers. Your unwavering loyalty and support made each day truly special.

“Richard and Judy once said, ‘We’re merely custodians of this show; its heart will always belong to the viewers’.”

Holly expressed, “Being part of this journey has been an honour, and I believe there are many chapters yet to unfold in its story. Regrettably, I feel it’s time for me to make this decision, considering the well-being of my family.”

“I will dearly miss everyone. Warm regards, Holly.”
