Tony Bellew, the 41-year-old ex-professional boxer and runner-up of “I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!”, shared some earnest guidance with his jungle companion, Sam Thompson, who emerged as the King of the Jungle in 2023.

During their stint in the wild Down Under, Tony forged an unexpected bond with Sam, 31, formerly of Made in Chelsea fame.

The viewers of the show were enamored by their camaraderie, with many advocating for the duo to have their own programme. Tony, during an appearance on Good Morning Britain, did not dismiss the possibility outright.

On the 11th of November, via a video link with GMB hosts Susanna Reid and Ed Balls, Tony reflected on his jungle adventure and the unique rapport he shared with Sam.

When discussing the well-known reality star, Tony expressed, “Sam was outstanding.

“It’s truly difficult to articulate how remarkable Sam is. I was certain he would emerge as the winner within just a few days of meeting him; it was evident he was destined to win.”

Tony added, “Sam is simply an incredible individual.

“In my opinion, anyone who doesn’t admire Sam, Marvin Humes, Frankie Dettori, or Nick Pickard lacks a soul.”

Susanna asked Tony if he and Sam were planning their own spin-off show. He chuckled, remarking, “You’re making it sound like Max and Paddy,” in a nod to the iconic 2004 series starring Paddy McGuinness and Peter Kay.

However, Tony didn’t dismiss the idea of a TV show featuring himself and Sam, stating, “I’m not sure. I’ll go along with whatever Sam wants.”

Tony also offered some advice to Sam after his jungle victory, noting that Sam is stepping into “a completely new realm” due to the surge in attention and TV offers.

He advised, “I want Sam to relax because he’s entering an entirely different world now, truly.”
