British Man, Aged 36, Fatally Injured as Range Rover Collides with Waste Collection Lorry in Ibiza Tragic Incident
A tragic incident has occurred in Ibiza where a British man lost his life in a collision between a car and a dustbin lorry.
The individual behind the wheel, aged 36, lost their life at the site of the crash, alongside a 26-year-old passenger, in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Following the collision, two occupants seated in the rear of the white Range Rover, aged 32 and 45, whose nationalities remain unidentified, were swiftly taken to the hospital due to severe injuries.
Reports indicate that the 4×4 vehicle collided head-on with a dustbin lorry while overtaking a Kia containing two women, on the opposite side of the road.
This tragic incident occurred close to Go-Karts Santa Eulalia, a karting circuit situated along the road between Ibiza and Santa Eulalia, at approximately 4 am local time on Saturday.
Video captured at the location depicted the remnants of the damaged Range Rover being placed onto a recovery vehicle.
The local emergency health response service spokesperson confirmed that the accident resulted in the tragic loss of two lives and left three others injured. They stated, “Two individuals succumbed to their injuries at the scene.”

‘A 45-year-old individual was transferred in a serious condition to a private clinic, while a 23-year-old with minor injuries was also taken to Can Misses.’
The Civil Guard has initiated an investigation into the incident. Initial reports from the local area indicated that officers are examining whether the driver of the Range Rover overtook the Kia in a restricted overtaking zone, delineated by a continuous white line separating the carriageways.
