ITV viewers found themselves perplexed following a remark made by Nella Rose during the latest episode of I’m A Celebrity. In the recent segment, a significant turn of events unfolded as camp leader Sam Thompson relinquished his position, paving the way for YouTuber Nella Rose to take charge.

With swift determination, she assumed her new role by delegating various tasks to her fellow campmates, including Nigel Farage and Fred Sirieix. Later on, she expressed that the Channel 4 First Dates waiter had caused her considerable distress, claiming he had ‘made her life hell’.

“Nella took charge of the washing duties last night, assigning Fred and Farage to the task. The Mirror reports that these two individuals had a habit of casually discarding cleaned items onto the muddy floor, demanding a rewash. However, the tables turned, as Nella announced the reversal of roles, much to their dismay.”

In a follow-up statement, Nella expressed a sentiment of karma coming back around and highlighted the challenges she faced, referring to Fred’s behavior as making her life difficult. This sparked a wave of disapproving comments from viewers.

Reacting to Nella’s remarks, fans took to X to express their confusion and frustration. One viewer questioned the basis of Nella’s claim about Fred making her life difficult, seeking clarification. Another labelled Nella’s comments as harsh and unjust, citing Fred’s consistent efforts in cooking for the camp as a stark contrast to the allegations, emphasizing that his complaints were limited to the cleanliness of the kitchenware.

Nella and Fred’s jungle experience hit a rough patch in the initial days. The YouTuber felt offended when Fred mentioned his age relative to hers, triggering distress as she recently lost her father in 2020. She labelled him a “weirdo” for referencing her late dad, declaring her desire to avoid his company and share minimal interaction.

Their clash caught the attention of former ‘I’m A Celeb’ contestant Jake Quickenden, who expressed concern to the Mirror about their reconciliation prospects, which are yet to materialise. Jake confessed to being unsure about the situation and highlighted the potential for an uncomfortable stretch ahead if the pair fail to resolve their differences.

“They seem exhausted, sensitive, and hungry, especially Nella, who took great offence. Fred did apologise and meant no harm by his words. However, you’ve witnessed Fred challenge Brexit with Nigel, showcasing his strong personality and opinions. I held Nella in high regard too; she was performing exceptionally well.

“Her trials aside, she possesses a great sense of humour and a very endearing personality. Hopefully, they’ll reconcile and move past this. But after their exchange, when Nella refused to engage further with Fred, I started to doubt a resolution. Three weeks of avoiding someone in such close quarters could hinder any chance of reconciliation. It’s a tight-knit environment, after all.”
