The recent occurrence involving Josie Gibson and Danielle Harold witnessing the former UKIP leader in the nude while he was bathing in the renowned jungle shower has sparked considerable attention. Nigel Farage, aged 59, has not only confirmed his relationship with his secret girlfriend, Laure Ferrari, 44, but she has also broken her silence regarding his exposure.
In an interview with the Daily Mail, Ferrari remarked, ‘Nigel has an admirable physique, what’s the fuss about? If you possess it, why not display it!’
Josie, aged 38, was the initial celebrity taken aback by the unexpected sight within 24 hours of entering the camp. It seems this incident wasn’t an isolated one, as viewers – and another campmate – were privy to subsequent impromptu displays.
A few weeks ago, he went for a morning bath, and much to the surprise of Danielle, 31, passing by, he once again exposed his backside as he stepped out.
The two women shared a moment over this incident, with Josie sharing with the actress, “I caught sight of it on the first day! Considering he’s nearly 60, it’s not too shabby.”
Evidently, Nigel’s rear made an impression on both of them, as Danielle chimed in, “He looks good, doesn’t he? Nice little bum.”
Meanwhile, Laure, previously linked to Farage and now confirming their relationship, has expressed optimism about her partner’s potential to win the coveted title of ‘King of the Jungle’ in this year’s competition.
She voiced her confidence, stating, ‘I truly believe Nigel can emerge victorious. His accommodating nature towards others’ idiosyncrasies is likely to garner public support, making him a commendable campmate.’
The politician’s participation in the TV series has sparked significant controversy among viewers, prompting a campaign for his removal due to his polarizing political views. Reports suggest he received £1.5 million for his appearance on the show.
Despite this backlash, Laure stands firmly behind him, citing discussions they had when the opportunity arose. ‘Supporting him feels like a responsibility,’ she affirmed. ‘When the invitation for I’m A Celebrity arrived, we deliberated. I perceived it as a chance for him to showcase his abilities.’
She revealed Farage’s considered approach, involving consultations with family and friends before committing to the show. ‘It was a collective decision that led to his participation,’ she added.
