Woman rendered unconscious in Southend High Street robbery

Authorities are currently probing a robbery incident in Southend, during which a woman was subjected to assault.

The woman, aged in her 50s, was seated outside Greggs on the High Street at approximately 11:10 pm on Saturday, November 11, when she was approached by another female.

Subsequently, she was assaulted and rendered unconscious, with her purse being stolen during the incident.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian woman in her late 30s, standing at 5ft 7ins, with brown hair tied in a bun. She was seen wearing a purple jacket adorned with black squares on the shoulder, along with black trousers.
