Strictly Come Dancing Star Vito Coppola Appears to ‘Confirm’ Romance with Partner Ellie Leach

 

The 31-year-old Italian professional dancer and the 22-year-old Coronation Street star have sparked speculation about their relationship in recent days – and the dancer’s latest Instagram post has only added to the speculation.

Let’s be honest, would it really be a Strictly season without a couple falling head over heels for each other?

This year’s season has generated a lot of excitement, and it doesn’t look like the buzz is going to die down anytime soon – all thanks to Vito and Ellie.

It all kicked off when Sherlock star Amanda Abbington appeared to ‘confirm’ that fellow contestants Ellie and Vito Coppola are now an item.

The duo attained an exceptional score of 39 with their stunning rendition of the American Smooth to Robbie Williams’ popular track ‘Ain’t That Kick In the Head’ this past weekend (4th November).

On Monday (6th November), the dancing pair posted a shared message on Instagram for their fans, along with a photograph of them in the ballroom, having secured the top position on the leaderboard for the second time and progressing to this week’s show.

The caption read: “Thank you, thank you, thank you.”

“What an enchanting evening! We’re immensely thankful for all your support and absolutely thrilled to have secured another week on the Strictly dancefloor.

Amanda, who was officially announced to have departed the show on 23rd October for ‘personal reasons’, also showered her praise but seemed to suggest that Ellie and Vito share a deeper connection beyond dance partners.

“Absolutely breathtaking,” she wrote. “I’m incredibly proud of both of you.”

Joined by a string of red heart emojis, the 51-year-old went on to say: “You make the most exquisite couple!”

Furthermore, on Wednesday, 8th November, Vito ignited further speculation with an update following a day of rehearsals with Ellie.”

He accompanied the black and white self-portrait with a warm message and affectionate nickname: “Just wrapped up another day of rehearsal.

“Congratulations to my darling Ellie Leach.”

Ellie parted ways with her partner of five years in May, following an act of infidelity which, she revealed, had affected her confidence.

In October, she shared with The Mirror: “Being betrayed was a painful experience, but now is the ideal moment to pour my heart into Strictly and give it my absolute all.”
