In a lawsuit filed in New York on Thursday, a woman named Jeanne Bellino has accused the rock musician of sexually assaulting her twice in 1975, on the day they first met, as reported by Rolling Stone.

Bellino alleges that she encountered Aerosmith’s lead vocalist, who is a decade her senior, at the Warwick Hotel in New York when she was 17.

According to Bellino, on the evening of their meeting, she, Tyler, and several others walked down Sixth Avenue together. It’s claimed that Tyler forcibly confined her in a phone booth after becoming frustrated with their conversation.

“The suit alleges that while holding her captive, Tyler engaged in inappropriate physical contact, including touching her breasts, buttocks, and genitals, while also manipulating clothing and pinning her against the phone booth wall. It further states that Tyler simulated sexual activity with Plaintiff,” the suit detailed. “Witnesses stood by outside the booth, laughing, and passersby watched without intervening.”

Bellino reportedly managed to escape from the Dream On singer by pulling his hair and using her knee to create distance between them. The suit states that Tyler’s entourage “observed” and “chuckled,” yet Bellino remained with the group for transportation reasons.

According to the legal documents, Tyler allegedly sexually assaulted Bellino for a second time within the confines of the hotel. He is accused of forcibly kissing and pressing against her, as well as inviting her into his room, causing her considerable distress.

Bellino maintains that since the alleged assaults, she has endured and will continue to endure “severe and permanent emotional distress, physical manifestations of emotional distress, embarrassment, humiliation, physical, personal & psychological injuries.”

This legal action comes less than a year after Julia Misley, previously known as Julia Holcomb, filed a suit in Los Angeles accusing Tyler of sexual assault in the 1970s. The musician has denied these allegations.
