The songstress, who disclosed her diagnosis of stiff-person syndrome towards the end of last year, made an appearance at an NHL game in Las Vegas.

Following the face-off between the Vegas Golden Knights and the Montreal Canadiens at the T-Mobile Arena, she headed to the dressing room to meet members of her hometown team.

Despite the team’s loss, Celine seemed to be in high spirits, accompanied by her son René-Charles, 22, and her thirteen-year-old twins, Eddy and Nelson.

In a video released by the team, the singer was spotted mingling with some of the players, sharing jokes and laughs with head coach Martin St-Louis.

The coach reminisces with Celine, recalling when she sang for Pope John Paul II during his visit to Canada in 1984.

“It’s been quite some time since then, hasn’t it?” she quips in French, “We’ve changed a bit since then, but not too much.”

The Canadiens’ vice president of communications posted pictures on Instagram, featuring Celine with her arm around her.

“We had a wonderful time at the game in Vegas yesterday. Thank you, @celinedion, for your kindness. The entire team is thrilled to have had the opportunity to meet you and your family,” she wrote in French alongside the photos.

Celine disclosed her diagnosis of stiff-person syndrome to her fans in October 2021, which led to the postponement of her Las Vegas shows.

Subsequently, earlier this year, she had to cancel the North American leg of her tour. The singer experiences symptoms such as muscle spasms, muscle rigidity, and frequent falls, which can be attributed to a lack of coordination.
