Furthermore, there is a build-up of traffic along the thoroughfares leading through Watford and Rickmansworth, as the vehicular flow takes an alternative route.

“Reports from sensors and cameras illustrate that the thoroughfare has once again been subject to a momentary cessation. The road was sealed off at approximately 09:50 and remained so for a little over three hours.”

A representative from Hertfordshire Constabulary conveyed:

“At the stroke of 9:30 in the forenoon, a communication was received, pertaining to an upturned freight carriage betwixt junctions 18 and 19 of the M25, on the trajectory towards Heathrow. The said carriage had obstructed three lanes, prompting the summoning of ambulance (reference 1143) and fire services (reference: 19069), given that the operator of the freight carriage found himself ensnared within, albeit seemingly unscathed.
